Marketing Coordinator - Swindon, Wiltshire

Our client, a print management company based in Watchfield near Swindon, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate for the Marketing Coordinator role must possess strong experience in marketing and communications, with a passion for design and the English language.

The main purpose of the role is to create, distribute, and manage all external and internal communications to promote the company brands and encourage customer involvement in the business while adhering to corporate design guidelines and brand values.

Marketing Coordinator responsibilities:

• Sales Communications: Manage the creation and distribution of general indirect sales communications such as sales bulletins, marketing bulletins, technical bulletins, and product launch notifications.
• Promotional Materials: Manage the creation and distribution of printed and digital promotional materials for both direct and indirect sales channels for both products and vertical markets.
• Website Management: Maintain, update, and manage all corporate websites.
• Public Relations and Advertising: Implement an annual public relations and advertising campaign with suitable channel and business press to an agreed budget.
• Social Media Campaigns: Prepare, implement, and coordinate social media campaigns across all platforms.

What we’re looking for:

• 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with experience in the IT or similar industry.
• Theoretical and practical understanding of channel marketing.
• Basic understanding of copywriting and published copywriting.
• Demonstrable design experience.
• Practical understanding of the Business2Business segment and vertical market segmentation.
• Understanding of HTML and website design.
• Experience with WordPress website management software.
• Practical understanding of Adobe Creative software or equivalent.
• Practical understanding of social media platforms and associated tools.
• Marketing (CIM or equivalent) and Design Qualification.

Additional information:

• Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 per annum, based on experience, plus bonus.
• Location: Watchfield, near Swindon (SN6) – office based.
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with early finish on Fridays.
• 23 days holiday + bank holidays.
